Our response to the COVID-19 virus

by Kim Crow

Dear Friends of Evie Lou:

‘Flattening the Curve’ is the new black.

In doing our part to embrace the most critical trend of the spring season, we have closed our Klaipėda store through April 2020.

While we’ll miss seeing you in store, our website remains open for business.

A few words about our order fulfillment process during this time: To ensure the safety of our team, yet maintain our web operations, we have scheduled one person to come in from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Working alone for those hours, she will sanitize all counters/door knobs/glass surfaces when she walks in, and again when she leaves. Hands will be washed between packing each order. She will fulfill all web orders, return phone calls and be on hand to receive our daily deliveries from UPS and the like. Please note that these extra precautions will necessarily add to the time it takes to fulfill an order; at times, it may take up to two business days for an order to leave our building.

While we want people to concentrate on staying at home and thus, staying well, we are happy to provide a little distraction. If you’d like to arrange a Face-Time shopping session, just give us a call, and we can set up a time to virtually walk you through the racks. For local customers, we can drop off a care-package of goodies, and schedule pickup, only charging you for the items you decide to keep. And for our web-only customers, all orders over $75 will ship for free during this time.

We will be checking the store’s voice mail throughout the day, but please note that it may take up to 24 hours to get a response. For faster communication, or if you have any thoughts or concerns, please email me directly: [email protected].

Trends may come and go, but good health is forever. Please take care of yourselves, and know that at the end of this, we’ll be waiting for you with open arms (that have been pre-dipped in Purell, of course).

With so, so much affection, and more than a bit of sorrow,

Kim Crow
